JULY 7 – Marie G. Holman, 88, of Farmville, departed this life on Sunday, July 3, 2011 in Farmville.

She is survived by a son, David Holman; four daughters, Louise Dawson (Clarence), Lonie Cooper, Shirley Clark and Zelda Pollock (James); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren; five nieces, three nephews, cousins and friends.

Her remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home where public viewing will be held Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Ridgeway Baptist Church, Dillwyn with the Rev. Austin Jones Jr., pastor, officiating, with interment in the church cemetery.

Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home, Cumberland, is in charge of arrangements.
