CUMBERLAND COUNTY, May 24 – Winston W. “Buck” Baldwin of Cumberland County, died following a short illness Wednesday, May 18, 2011, one week after his 73rd birthday. He loved his extended family at Tar Wallet Baptist Church in Cumberland, where he was a member.

Mr. Baldwin is survived by a brother, Leon Baldwin and wife, June of Mechanicsville; sister-in-law, Alice Baldwin of Highland Springs; and five nieces and nephews and their children. He is also survived by the staff and residents of Able Rest Home in Cumberland, where he lived. He was predeceased by his parents, Willard and Annie Baldwin; brother, Calvin Baldwin; and sister, Shirley Gustafson.

A viewing was held 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, at Tar Wallet Baptist Church with funeral services beginning at noon. Interment followed at Antioch Methodist Church Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Tar Wallet Baptist Church, 150 Tarwallet Rd., Cumberland, VA 23040.
