Editor, The Herald:

In its May 20 edition the Herald ran an article on page 6B under the headline, “Taxpayers Charge Giant Cover-Up of Bretton Woods II.”

I have to wonder how and why that article made it into print. It is clearly a piece of right-wing propaganda masquerading as journalism, from a minimally identified source, and potentially a trap for an unwary reader.

This falls far below the level of journalism we expect from The Herald. I hope you will agree that its publication deserves a retraction and an apology to your readers.
