BUCKINGHAM, April 26 – Jesse Alexander Morgan Jr., 68, of Buckingham, went home to be with our Lord, on Thursday, April 21, 2011.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Sue Whorley Morgan; three children, Steve, William (Andy), and Tara all of Buckingham; three grandchildren, Cody and Kaylyn Morgan of Buckingham and Haley Morgan of Boykins; and one aunt, Sarah Hardiman of Buckingham.

Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse A. Morgan Sr. and Myrtle Hardiman, both of Buckingham.

Funeral services were held at Dunkum Funeral Home on Monday, April 25. A private burial followed in the Morgan Family Cemetery.

Donations may be made to Toga Volunteer Fire Department, Centra Hospice of Farmville, or Glory Baptist Church Building Fund in Appomattox.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
