CUMBERLAND, March 29 – Bobby Boatwright, 70, of Cumberland, departed this life on Sunday, March 27, 2011 in Richmond.

He is survived by a son, Casey Boatwright; daughter, Macey Payne (Thomas); two grandchildren, Victoria and Junius McFarley; brother, Ernest Boatwright; five sisters-in-law, Mary Allen (Joe), Willie Sue Boatwright-Poole (Alfred), Lottie Davenport (William), Eva Boatwright and Mary Boatwright; three brothers-in-law, Avon Foster, Lester Foster and James Foster; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

His remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home of Cumberland.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Cumberland. Rev. Dr. Howard C. Cooper, pastor officiating, Rev. Joseph Allen Jr., eulogist. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home, Cumberland, is in charge of arrangements.
