FEBRUARY 20 – Lona Rachel Fender, 56, passed away in Farmville on Saturday, February 19, 2011.

She is survived by her father, Calvin Fender; six children, Donnie Phaup, Elijah Rawson, and Calab Young all of Buckingham, Sam Woodfin of Farmville, and Beth Posey and Chantel Powell both of Farmville; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Loraine Adams, granddaughter, Brenne, great-nephew, Brady, brother, Butch, and sister, Judy.

A graveside service will be held at Zion United Methodist Church, Zion Crossroads, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23.

A family night will be held Tuesday, Feb. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Puckett Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or to the funeral home.
