The Farmville Free Tax Service will again be offering free tax preparation for taxpayers with 2010 incomes under $50,000.

Volunteers are community members who are IRS trained and the service includes electronic filing for fast refunds.

Tax preparation will be offered at the Farmville/Prince Edward Community Library on most (but not all) Thursdays 3-6 PM and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. until April 14. Please call the Library at 392-6924 for specific dates and appointments.

Please bring all relevant social security numbers, tax documents and if you want direct deposit bring a bank account number.

We would very much welcome volunteer preparers to assist us and can be contacted at 392-3588.
