PAMPLIN, Sept. 28 – Beulah O. Turbyfill, 93 of Pamplin, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010. She was born in Dante, on July 11, 1917 to the late Wilburn Martin Oaks and Fannie Puckett Oaks. She was the widow of Dallas E. Turbyfill.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Geneva Turbyfill of Pamplin; son-in-law, Ronald Snider of Dublin; grandchildren, Debbie Wallace of Pamplin and Jack Turbyfill and wife, Brenda of Axton; great-grandchildren, Holly Wallace of Pamplin and Michelle Copenhaver and husband, Todd of Bassett; and great-great-grandchildren, Ashley Bowman and Harley Copenhaver both of Bassett. She was preceded in death by a son, J.B. Turbyfill, a daughter, Patsy T. Snider, brother, Harry L. Oaks and two sisters, Maud Turbyfill and Opal Bowles.
A funeral service was held Monday, September 27, in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home. A graveside service was held Tuesday (today) at Westview Cemetery in Farmville.
Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
