JULY 21 – Wilma Doris Knight Webb, affectionately known as Doris, born August 11, 1922, quietly departed this life on Sunday, July 5, 2009. She was the youngest daughter of 14 children born to the late Henry and Daisy Knight in Green Bay.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Doris Elaine (Claudius) Webster, Roy Louis (Brenda), and John (Jacqueline); grandchildren, Stephanie, Jean Yea, Roy Louis Jr. and Jocklyn; three great-granddaughters, special nieces/ adopted daughters, Laverne (Joseph, deceased) Edwards and Shirley Stokes; brother, Dr. Roy F. Knight; brother-in-law, Franklin Webb; sister-in-law, Louise Foster; many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and especially the Reed family.

Funeral service was held July 10 at Levi Baptist Church, Green Bay, with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. J.S. Williams Jr., pastor, officiated.

Wilson Funeral Home, Keysville, served the family.
