DILLWYN, July 3 – Viola (Vola) Blazer Orange Garrett, of Dillwyn, died Wednesday, July 2, 2008. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Robert A. Orange and Leonard L. Garrett.

She is survived by two sons, Robert A. Orange Jr. of Victoria and Loren C. Orange of Farmville; a daughter, Shelby O. Layne of Chesterfield; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Also left to grieve her loss is her loving caregiver, “My Mama” Margaret Williams of Amelia.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Concord Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Buckingham County Rescue Squad.
