August 19 – Happy Birthday wishes are sent out to Bea England, of Dillwyn, celebrating on Monday, August 23, and Pat Lankford, of Cumberland, celebrating on Thursday, August 26.

Barry and Linda Miles of Cumberland, visited in the home of James and Virginia Boyles, of Cumberland, on Sunday evening, August 15.

The Annual 2010 former Craddock-Terry Shoe Factory Breakfast meeting was held on Saturday, August 14 at Country Cookin' in Farmville. A large crowd enjoyed great food and fellowship and sharing memories of the past.

Congratulations to Pete and Annie May Miles of Dillwyn who will be celebrating their 55th wedding anniversary on Thursday, August 26.

A birthday lunch was given in honor of Tom Snead of Cumberland, on Saturday, August 14 at the VFW Hall in Buckingham. It is his 80th birthday. A large crowd of family and friends enjoyed great food, fun, fellowship and gospel music. Please remember Tom in your thoughts and prayers, as he will be moving back to his home in Glenn Allen.
