Stokley D. Talbott, 69 Of Dillwyn Dies Sunday

DILLWYN, April 27 – Stokley D. Talbott, 69, of Dlllwyn, died Sunday, April 25,2004.
Mr. Talbott retired as a truck driver from Kyanite Mining Corp after 23 years and still continued to do what he loved best, drive trucks. He was employed by Carl A. Norman Trucking of Dlllwyn.
He Is survived by his wife, Margaret Agee Talbott; daughters, Wanda Michelle (Missy) Talbott of Dillwyn and Brenda T. Cole of Gladys; son, Lewis Talbott of Gretna; stepdaughters, Sue Taylor Shifflett of Chesterfield and Ruby Taylor Call of Dlllwyn; grandchildren, Thomas Alien Cole of Gladys, Rebecca and Ferrin Shifflett of Chesterfield, Christopher, Stephen and Julie Call of Dlllwyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Scott Thomas Talbott and Ida Booth Talbott; brothers, Frank, Thomas and Jake Lee Talbott and a sister, Virginia Clay.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, with interment in the Family Cemetery.
