WEST POINT, April 30 – Ruth B. Myrick, 83, of West Point, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Her husband, Hurley Myrick Sr. preceded her in death.

Ruth is survived by two sons and their wives, Hurley Jr. and Jill Myrick of Hendersonville, NC, and Wiley and Cathy Myrick of West Point; a sister, Elsie Mae Rowland and husband, Joe, of South Dakota; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point.

The family will receive friends Friday 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
