SPOUT SPRING, Jan. 13 – Robert Walter Lampinen, 61, of Spout Spring, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2009 in Farmville.

Mr. Lampinen was born in Daggitt, Michigan, on December 19, 1947, the son of Walter and Elna Aro Lampinen. He was a US Army veteran and a retired propane gas technician.

He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Moor and husband, Michael of New York, NY; son, Joshua Lampinen of Chicago, IL; sisters, Charlene Totzke of Lebanon, TN and Carol Juston and husband, Joe of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Jack Lampinen and wife, Anna of Tampa, FL; and special friends, Kitty Hatcher of Prospect and Bill Agee of Buckingham.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, in the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home.
