RICHMOND, Aug. 5 – Pattie J. Scott, 89, of Richmond, died on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Westminster Canterbury. She was born on October 13, 1920 in Charlotte County to the late Embry and Mary Garnett Scott. She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, one half-brother and sister.

She was a retired Reference librarian for the Richmond City Library.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Betty Sue Scott; brother-in-law, Rev. William Blottner; nephew, Tom Scott; and several other nephews and nieces.

Funeral services will be con-ducted on Saturday, August 7, at 3 p.m. from Johns Memorial Episcopal Church, followed by interment in Westview Cemetery. The public is welcome.
