MAY 15 – Mrs. Norma Petillo Taylor, 88, of Farmville, passed away at home on Wednesday, May 14, 2008.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Dr. Woodrow Wilson Taylor; daughters, Jane Wesley Taylor-Warner of Farmville and Diane Elizabeth Taylor Garlick of Kents Store; and son-in-law, Dirk Laros Warner of Farmville.

Norma will be forever remembered for her grace, kindness, intelligence, compassion, and ever-present smile.

The family will receive friends at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville on Thursday (today) from 7-9 p.m., with funeral services at the Farmville United Methodist Church on Friday at 2 p.m.

Graveside services will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond, on Saturday at 4 p.m.

Norma's family and care-giver's hearts are heavy with grief, but filled with love in knowing that she's at peace.

The family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of choice and the Hospice of Virginia, 202 Clark St., Farmville, VA 23901.

Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, is in charge of arrangements.
