BLACKSTONE, March 16 – Nevan Clinton Shewey, 2, of Blackstone, was born on January 30, 2008 and earned his angel wings in heaven on Wednesday, March 3, 2010.

He leaves on this earth his parents, Lynette Brogdon (Randolph Jordan), and Brandon Prendergast (Vanessa Lee); grandparents, Kay and Gerald Shewey, and Barbara and Brian Keener; step-grandparents, Pamela and Gary Anderson; great-grandparents, Nerina and Charles Gregory, Doc Keener, and Clara Shewey; sisters, Tracii, Michaelle, Jakeyla, Shaye, Kyna, and Keshera; brothers, Sean, CJ, Jermane and Kephawn; many aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones in our community.

Funeral services were held March 13, at Grace Baptist Temple, in Blackstone with burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone.
