FARMVILLE – The Farmville Police Dept. is seeking information in a series of burglaries that occurred over the last seven days.

Three homes were entered at the following locations: the 200 block of St. George St. on August 9th; the 700 block of E. Third St. on August 8th; and the 800 block of Vernon St. on August 4th.

A business in the 2000 block of E. Third St. was broken into over the weekend and during the night of August 9th someone entered the Mary Branch Community Center on S. Main St. Items taken include electronics, tools, and scrap metal. It is unknown whether these incidents are related.

A $1,000 reward is being offered by the victim for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect(s) involved in the scrap metal theft.
