Misty D. Yowell, 34 Of Pamplin Dies January 28

PAMPLIN, Jan. 29 – Misty Dawn Yowell, 34, of Pamplin, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at her residence. She was the wife of Michael Yowell Jr.
Born October 4, 1974 in Baskersfield, CA, she was the daughter of Claude and Pennie Love West of Pamplin. She was a loving wife and mother and a caring homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her brother, William Francisco Jr.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three children, Jessica Biggers, Michael Yowell III, and John Yowell all of Pamplin; four sisters, Jeanie Wright of Bristol, TN, Tonya Towers of Johnson City, TN, Betty Robinson of Pamplin, and Melissa Churchill and husband, Wayne of Farmville; two grandmothers, Naomi West of Pamplin and Mary Francisco of Bakersfield, CA; parents-in-law, Nancy and Mike Hallinen of Crewe; grand-parents-in-law, Pat and Jim Miller of Green Bay; three brothers-in-law, Richard Yowell and wife, Shelly of Roanoke, Andy Hallinen and wife, Crystal of Crewe, and Bryan Duker of Roanoke; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, at Spring Creek Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 p.m., Thursday (tonight) at the funeral home.
