CARTERSVILLE, Oct. 16 – Milton Thomas Liggon, 68, of Cartersville, departed this life on Sunday, October 12, 2008 in Richmond.

He is survived by his loving wife, Amy Liggon; a son, Thomas Liggon (Alease); six daughters, Patricia Davis (Tommie), Edith, Corlisa, and Gladys Liggon, Darlene Tyler (Charles) and Irene Anderson (James); adopted son, Gary Hunter; 15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Liggon and Mable Lewis; and other relatives and friends.

His remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, Cartersville, with interment in Greater Works Christian Church Cemetery.
