DILLWYN, Jan. 20 – Ethel May Hellman Williams, 79, of Dillwyn, died Friday, January 16, 2004 in Farmvllle.

Born October 6, 1924 in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Charles Hellman and Kate Ashfield.

Mrs. Williams was a well known porcelain artist and member of the International Porcelain Artists and Teachers, Inc.

She is survived by a daughter, Nancy L. Cryan of Dillwyn; a son, Garth L. Cupp of Salem, OR; a brother, Ronald Hellman of Ohio; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles J. Hellman and a sister, Bette Busby.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 25 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Doyne-Burger-Davis Funeral Home, Farmvllle.
