Memorial Service For David Basil Stout, 80 Set March 13, 2 P.M.

GOLD HILL, March 2 – David Basil Stout, 80, born August 11, 1929 in Spencer, WV, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at his home in Gold Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie Wanda Stout and seven children, David Michael, Richard Basil, Steven Ray, Robert Dewey, Norman Keith, William Russell and Jessie Ruth Stout; sister, Rose Mary; brother, Edward Joseph; and several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Stout pastored three churches in the area, taught at Gold Hill School for several years, was a Korean War veteran, and had a good life with lots of humor and joking.
A memorial service will be held at Arvonia Methodist Church in Arvonia on Saturday, March 13, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at a later date in West Virginia.
Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
