KEYSVILLE, Jan. 13 – Melvin Otto Doswell died Saturday, December 27, 2003 at Britthaven Nursing Home, Keysville.

He was born in Lunenburg County, a son of the late Herbert N. Doswell, Sr. and Helen Winbush Doswell.

He is survived by six brothers and three sisters, Florence Doswell Diamond of Queens, NY, Bernard W. Doswell (Joyce) of Richmond, Evelyn Majorie Addison of Summerville, SC, Herbert N. Doswell, Jr. of Green Bay, Aurelia Doswell Corbin of Virginia Beach, Clifford L. Doswell of Drakes Branch, Vincent 0. Doswell (Glorine) of Richmond, Harold Garland Doswell of Patterson, NJ and Julian H. Doswell (Brenda) of Keysvllle and a host of nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 1 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church, Meherrin.

Wilson Funeral Home, Keysville, was in charge of arrangements.
