RICHMOND, Feb. 17 – Mary Lynn McCall Ward Crews, 72, of Richmond, and formerly of Farmville, died Thursday, February 12, 2009. She was a retired complex manager with Colony Management Corp. and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband William C. Ward Sr. and two grandsons, Benjamin Ward and Ward Johnson and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William C. Ward Jr. and wife, Terri of Columbia, NC; daughters and sons-in-law, Tissie Reed and husband, Jeff of Dolphin, Kathryn Johnson and husband, Mitchell of York, PA, and Debra Leigh Williams and husband, Hugh, of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Josh Ward, Shannon Lester, Chris Bulluck, Derek Bulluck, Vicki Johnson, Michelle Clark, and Joshua Williams; great-granddaughter, Trinity Bulluck; and sister, JoAnne Slayton of Pinehurst, NC.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Chapel. Her family will officiate the service. Interment will be private.
