HOPEWELL, May 14 – Marian H. Foster, 88, of Hopewell, formerly of Farmville, died Monday, May 11, 2009 in Hopewell.

She is survived by her son, Roger W. Foster and wife, Laura of Streamwood, IL; a grand-daughter, Christine Schwartz of Saint Louis, MO; three great-grandchildren, Zachary Foster of Valparaiso, IN, and Oscar and Henry Schwartz both of Saint Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Foster, and a grandson, Mark Jason Foster.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shorter Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday, in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.
