PROSPECT, May 15 – Maggie Louise Franklin Goin, 84, of Prospect, died Monday, May 12, 2008 in Richmond. She was a former employee of the Craddock & Terry Shoe Company. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis William Goin and her son, William “Willie” Goin.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Phyllis W. Goin; a grandson, Daniel McLemore and wife, Melissa; a great-granddaughter, Ellie Grace McLemore; and sisters, Thelma Franklin and Emma Patterson, all of Prospect.

Graveside funeral services were conducted Thursday in the Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery, Prospect.

The Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, is serving the family.
