BURKEVILLE, March 5 – Maggie Louise Duffer Edwards, 79, of Burkeville, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009.

She is survived by her children, Sara Jane Metcalf of Scottsville, Nancy Robertson of Burkeville, Judy Walker of Charlottesville, Lee Coleman of Farmville, and Debbie Llewellyn of Powhatan; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Jones of Farmville and Nellie Newcomb of Saxe.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Friday, in the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hebron Baptist Church, Wylliesburg.

The Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, is serving the family.
