ALEXANDRIA, Jan. 7 – Lucille Stuart Blatcher, 72, of Alexandria, passed away Friday, January 1, 2010 at Arlington Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, John O. Blatcher of Rice; four daughters, Windy K. Baldwin of Rice, Georgie, Paula and Kathleen of various states; three sons, Donald J. Blatcher and wife, Sheila of Boston, MA, Ronald Blatcher and Gary Norton both of Alexandria; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; a sister, Georgie S. Ellwood of Jarrettsville, MD and a brother, Arthur C. Stickley III and wife, Susan of Hampton.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Pisgah Baptist Church in Rice.
