Louis A. Lehman, 79 Father of Area Resident, Dies Friday

AUGUST 3 – Louis Alfred Lehman, 79, formerly of Richmond, died Friday, July 30, 2004 at his son's residence in Farmville.
He was born January 18, 1925 in Richmond, a son of the late Herbert W. and Annie Leora Pusey Lehman.
Mr. Lehman served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was raised as a Master Mason in the Richmond Lodge #10 in 1957. He was an electrical contractor.
He is survived by his son, Larry Alfred Lehman and his wife, Deborah of Farmville; his granddaughter, Wendy Lehman Tillett of Cumberland; his great-granddaughters, Holly Joann and Samantha Brooke Tillett of Cumberland and several nieces and nephews in the Richmond area. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Larry Alfred Lehman, Jr., three brothers and two sisters.
A funeral service was held 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, with interment to be held later in Arlington National Cemetery.
