MADISONVILLE, Aug. 12 -Lloyd Wilson Taylor, 89, of Madisonville, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at his home. He was the husband of Evelyn Roach Taylor.

Born in Madisonville, May 13, 1919, Mr. Taylor was the son of the late Robert Matelion and Sallie Mae Belle Oaks Taylor. He was a farmer and a carpenter and a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Madisonville.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Brenda Dempsey and husband, Orville of Madisonville; granddaughter, Roxanne Catron and husband, Walker of Madisonville; grandson, Benjamin Dempsey and wife, Tiffany of Abilene; and great-granddaughter, Marissa Dempsey.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 13, in Centenary Cemetery, Madisonville, by the Rev. Robert Glenn.
