CUMBERLAND, May 21 – Leonora Walker Johnson, 70, of Cumberland, departed this life on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 in Farmville.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie Johnson Jr.; three sisters, Louise Robertson (John), Rose Davis (Harvey), and Mattie McCoy; three brothers-in-law, Bob Shearn, and Archie and Perry Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends, Mr. and Mrs. Junious Childress and Christine Mitchell.

Her remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Cumberland, with interment in the church cemetery.
