PROSPECT, June 10 – Kathi Louise Riggins, 46, of Prospect passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008 in Farmville. She was born November 5, 1961 in Warner Robins, Georgia, the daughter of Mary Louise Finchum and the late Earl Robert Danley. Kathi was a member of Piedmont Church of Christ in Farmville.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Louise Finchum of Prospect; her son, Jason Victor Banton and wife, Jennifer of Prospect; her daughter, Jessica Lester and husband, Jason also of Prospect; brothers, William Shelton and wife, Joanne of Virginia Beach and Earl Robert Eder of Roanoke; sister, Patricia Violet Wolf of Prospect; grand-children, Amanda Lynn Flanders and Kathleen Elizabeth Lester; nieces, Jennifer Lynn Eder of Roanoke; nephews, Michael David Shelton of Virginia Beach and Clifford Curtis Wolf of Prospect; great-nephew, Danny Shelton of Virginia Beach; uncle, LeRoy Doan Lindsey and wife, Hazel of White Pine, TN and many cousins and friends.

A funeral service was held Sunday, June 8, at the Chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens in Rice.
