OCTOBER 27 – Judson Edward Hodges Jr., 50, of Farmville, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009 at his residence. He was born June 1, 1959 in Farmville, the son of Margaret Baker Jenkins and the late Judson Edward Hodges. He served his country in the United States Navy for 11 years. Edward was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He was the husband of Barbara Hodges.

He is survived by his wife, his mother, his children, Sabrina and Polly of Middleburg, FL, and Elizabeth and David both of Appomattox; brothers, John Hodges and wife, Serena and Darrell Hodges and wife, Courtney both of Farmville; sister, Theresa Denaro and husband, Frank of Farmville; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and his beloved dog, Tuckeroo.

A funeral service was held Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund.

Puckett Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
