John Webber Buried May 19 In Arlington National Cemetery

MAY 28 – John Webber, affectionately known as “Beecher”, departed this life on Tuesday, March 17, 2009. He was born March 8, 1941 in Buckingham.

He is survived by his sisters, Elaine Webber Sears and Allegra Webber Shelton; nieces, Mary Anderson, Bernice Anderson Brown, Celestine Anderson, Annie Bell Anderson Holman, Marie Anderson Roane, Zelda Webber Trott, Harriette Shelton Ross, Emma Shelton Daughtry, Saundra Georges Johnson, and April Epps Palmieri; nephews, John Anderson, Robert C. Webber, II, Gerald Lynn Webber, and Emmit B. Sears; as well as a host of family from grand to great great-grandnieces and nephews and a devoted friend and caretaker, Jimmy Dibble.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 24, at First Liberty Baptist Church in Dillwyn. Interment was May 19 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington.
