JUNE 24 – John Edward Tine, Jr., of Farmville, formerly of New Jersey, died Wednesday, June 23,2004.

Mr. Tine was a retired vice-president of Flemington National Bank in New Jersey and a US Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Persons Tine; two sons, James Tine of Texas and Stephen Tine of New Jersey; a daughter, Sharon Yieter of Indiana and a stepson, Charles Porter of New Jersey.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. at Doyne-Burger-Davis Funeral Home, Farmville.
