MEHERRIN, July 15 – Joanna Crafton Crawford, of Meherrin, died Wednesday, July 14,2004.

She was born November 3, 1936, a daughter of the late Libby and Joseph Fowlkes.

She is survived by two daughters, Kandy Satterwhite and Tammy Conant; one son, Landon Franklin Crafton; one sister, Rae Smalley; one brother, Carroll (Sonny) Fowlkes; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Browning Funeral Home, Keysvllle.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Meherrin Volunteer Fire Department or Hospice of Central Virginia.
