MEHERRIN, Aug. 17 – JoAnn DeMarco, 66, of Meherrin, passed away, Thursday, August 12, 2010.

She was born in Beach Haven Crest, N.J., resided in Tuckerton until 2005, retiring to Virginia. She owned and operated De-Marco's Video from 1982-1992, worked for Mystic Chiropractic, and Verizon, in Atlantic City, Manahawkin, and Marmora, N.J.

She is survived by her hus-band, Anthony; sons, Craig Jill-son (Quinn) of New Gretna, N.J. and Anthony DeMarco of Green Bay; daughters, Charlene O'Connor (Mattehew) of New Gretna, N.J. and Nancy Fitz-gerald (Gene) of Manahawkin, N.J.; brother, Walter Martin (Cheryl) of Madison Heights; sisters, Barbara Ann Soper (Dan) of Manahawkin, N.J., Lynda Mason (Mike) of Little Egg Harbor, N.J., and Shelley Tho-mas (Ken) of Tuckerton, N.J.; grandchildren, Mike and Cort-ney Jillson, Mattehew and Brandy O'Connor, Nicole and Gene Fitzgerald, and one soon-to-be great-granddaughter.

A service was held at Wood Funeral Home, Tuckerton, N.J.

She will be greatly missed by her many family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Popcorn Park Zoo.
