RICHMOND, June 25 James Jones departed this life on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at McGuire Veterans Nursing Home, Richmond. He was born on January 19, 1919 in New Canton to the late Henry Jones and Maude Jones.

On Monday, June 29 friends may visit with the family at Michael Hawkes Funeral Home Amelia Courthouse from 2 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. until time of the Honor Guard service at Virginia Veterans Cemetery of Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd., Amelia.

Repast will be at Namaws Restaurant, 16121 Goodes Bridges Rd., Amelia Courthouse.
