CARTERSVILLE, April 21 – Jack “Papa” Stinnett, 78, of Cartersville, went peacefully to his heavenly home Friday, April 10, 2009.

A devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter, Debbie Sullivan (Nuck); son, James Earley (Teresa); precious grandsons, Colton Sullivan and Tyler Earley; sisters, June Barden (Joe), Mary Jo Sutton, Betty Sutton, and Iva Jean Cutright; brothers, Ted Stinnett (Shirley) and Harold Dewey Stinnett (Bonnie). Jack was preceded in death by his parents, David W. and Jane Stinnett; wife, Mary Alice Stinnett; brothers, Billy, Jimmy Stinnett; and a sister, Della Shores.

Jack's unconditional love will always be treasured in our hearts.

Funeral services were held Monday in the Cartersville Baptist Church with interment in Cartersville Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Cartersville Volunteer Rescue Squad, PO Box 15, Cartersville, Va. 23027.
