SCOTTSVILLE, Feb. 9 – Hoyt Snoddy Amos, 80, of Scottsville, died Thursday, February 4, 2010. She was born December 1, 1929 in Buckingham County, the daughter of the late Caryle Snoddy and Cora Bransford Snoddy.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Amos; sister, Cindy Omistrom of Indiana; and brother, Caryle Snoddy Jr. of Sandston.

A graveside funeral service was held Tuesday (today) at Centenary United Methodist Cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of arrangements.
