CUMBERLAND, Aug. 10 -Glenn A. “Cookie” McHenry, 60, of Cumberland, died Sunday, August 8, 2004 in Richmond.

He was born August 17, 1943 in New Market, Tennessee, a son of Jane B. McHenry of Cumberland and the late Ernest E. McHenry.

Mr. McHenry retired from Phillip Morris.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his devoted daughter, Gwendolyn McHenry Sapp and a devoted son-in-law, Kevin Sapp of Chesterfield County; two grandchildren, Ryan and Corey Sapp and brothers, Charles, Ronald and Phillip McHenry all of Cumberland. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary McHenry.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home, Farmvllle, with interment in Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Cumberland.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
