BUCKINGHAM CO., March 25 – Jo Goodman Shepard, 91, of Buckingham, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004.

She was born January 13, 1913, a daughter of the late William Goodman and Pocahontas Coleman Goodman. She was the widow of Sam Wallace Shepard.

She is survived by two sons, Sam Bossieux and wife, Betty B. Shepard of Alexandria and Van Page Shepard and wife, Agnes J. of Buckingham County; a sister, Anne G. Aden of Mississippi; five grandchildren. Temple Gracza and husband, John, Bruce Goodman Shepard and wife, Christine, Susan Jo Shepard, Daisanne Burns and husband. Beau and Meghann P. Shepard; seven great-grandchildren, Paige, Samantha, Emma Kate, Maggie, Mat-tie, Logan and Kate and her care giver, Denise Stout and her family.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Salem United Methodist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn.

Memorial donations may be made to the Buckingham County Rescue Squad or Salem United Methodist Church.
