MEHERRIN, Jan. 13 – Adolph M. Freitag, 74, of Meherrin, died Tuesday, December 24, 2003. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Hughes Freitag.

He is survived by three sons, Kenny Freitag of Blackstone, Steven Freitag of Meherrin and John Freitag of Downingtown, PA; two daughters, Kathy Glover of Remsenburg, Long Island, NY and Laura Kogler of Sinsbury, CT; seven grandchildren, William, Justin and Lauren Glover of Remsenburg, Long Island, NY, Adam and Matthew Freitag of Blackstone and Michael and Meredith Kogler of Sinsbury, CT.

A funeral mass was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 31 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Meherrin, with interment in the church cemetery.

Browning Funeral Home, Keysvllle, was in charge of arrangements.
