Fannie Mae Eanes

KEYSVILLE, July 21 – Fannie Mae Lee Eanes was born in Keysville on June 19, 1936 to the late Willie Mckinley and Worder Stills Lee. She departed this life to return home to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, July 14, 2009.

Fannie was joined in holy matrimony to Ralph Eanes Sr. and to this union four children were born. Ralph Jr. “Raunchy” and wife, Janet Eanes of Hampton, Tyrone M. Eanes of Farmville, Faith D. Eanes of Norfolk, and Jermaine J. Eanes and wife, LeKeysha Eanes of Virginia Beach; a sister, Hattie L. Brown of Vienna and brother-in-law, Rev. Dr. Clarence Brown of Vienna; brothers and sisters, Vergie Mae Lee, Margaret Reed, Lewis and Ada Eanes, Rev. Vincent and Shelia Eanes, Nathaniel and Dorothy Eanes, Roy and Brenda Eanes, Melvin and Shirley Eanes, Felicia Eanes, Larry and Susan Eanes, Thelma and Marshall Smith, Carrie Walker, Richard and Sylvia Holloman, Joe and Yvonne Howell, Jean Guzman, Gwen Eanes, Linda Eanes, Joyce Eanes, Diane Eanes, Emma Eanes, and Mae Eanes; nine grandchildren, Krystle, Kimberly, Russell, Jermaine Jr., Jordan, Teanna, LaQuan, Cortissa Fuller, and Adrain Nickens, and a great-grandchild on the way; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Services were held Monday, July 20, at Mt. Ellis Baptist Church, Keysville, with interment in the church cemetery. Pastor Lloyd S. Wesley Sr., officiated.
