Fannie B. Jackson, 80 Of Cartersville Dies February 26

CARTERSVILLE, March 5 – Mrs. Fannie Bell Jackson, 80, of Cartersville, departed this life at her residence on Thursday, February 26, 2009. She was preceded in death by her be-loved husband, John Warner Jackson.

She is survived by two sons, Ottoway Simmons (Sheila) and David Simmons; two daughters, Victoria Robinson (George), and Joyce M. Jackson; 10 grand-children; six great-grandchildren; three god-children; three brothers, Henry (Jean), Robert (Dorothy), and Willey (Clara) Gillian; three sisters, Carrie Brown, Susie Miller (Robert) and Annie Coleman; aunt, Rosa Nell Blanton; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 7, at New Hope Baptist Church, Cartersville, with the Rev. Leroy McLaughlin, Eulogist, and the Rev. C. Edward Davis, presiding. Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home, Cumberland, is serving the family.
