BURKEVILLE, Jan. 22 -Eddie Moore, 56, of Burkeville, died Monday, January 19, 2004 at his residence. ,

He was born September 18, 1946 in Nottoway County, a son of Wynona Bates of Blackstone and the late George William Moore.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Eddie Moore, Jr., Wayne Moore and Dallas Moore; the mother of his sons, Mildred Welchlin; five brothers, William, Richard, Harry, Charlie and Raymond; four sisters, Lillian, Edith, Betty and Irene and four grandchildren, Chris, Holly, Tiffany and Ashley.

A funeral service will be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville. The family will receive friends after the service until 8:30 p.m. Interment will be held in the Family Cemetery, Rice.
