DILLWYN, Aug. 24 – Douglas Mark (Peanut) Rogers, 52, of Dillwyn, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2010 at his home. He was born on December 13, 1957, to the late Franklin Joseph and Clara Bow MacLemore Rogers, in Baltimore, MD. He was a retired Scale Boss for Kyanite Mining Company.

Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife, Marlene Jamerson Rogers and daughter, Lindy Rogers, both of Dillwyn; sister, Cora Cochran and brother, Joseph Rogers, both of Maryland.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Dunkum Funeral Home with interment in the Jamerson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, is in charge of arrangements.
