ARVONIA, Nov. 10 – Dorothy Thompson LeSueur, 84, of Arvonia, died Friday, November 6, 2009. She was born November 25, 1924 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Clayton Thompson and Jennie Wilson, and widower of Berry Overton LeSueur.

She is survived by her children, Linda L. Taylor and husband, Allen of Arvonia, Doris Ann LeSueur and Carlton LeSueur both of Dillwyn; sister, Lois Allen of Conn.; grandchildren, Christopher Burton and Elizabeth (Beth) Taylor of Arvonia; and a great-grandchild, Elvina Burton of Arvonia.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Cedar Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.

Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, was in charge of services.
