STAFFORD, Sept. 2 – Doris Ruth Bowling, 84, of Stafford, died Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at Wilburn Gardens Assisted Living.

She is survived by one son, George Thomas Randall of Stafford; a brother, Kenneth Kendall; three grandsons, Ranny Randall of Stafford, Thomas Randall and Charles Randall both of King George and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Bowling and two brothers, Charles Kendall and Wilder Kendall.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg, with the Rev. William E. Jeffcoat officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening (Thursday) at the funeral home.
