CUMBERLAND, June 9 – Diane Patterson Johnson-Dunston, 56, of Cumberland, departed this life on Saturday, June 6, 2009 in Cumberland.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Dunston; a son and daughter, James Maurice Johnson and Tori Johnson-Walker; mother, Sallie Patterson; five grandchildren; six brothers, Charles (Rhonda), Larry (Hazel), Jerry (Yvonne), Glenn, Michael, and Chester (Marcia) Patterson; two sisters, Deloris Stewart and Alberta Patterson (James); two aunts, Arnetha Hatcher and Estelle Stewart; two uncles, Irvin Mosby (Frances) and Ben Mosby; four sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Her remains rest at Marian Gray Thomas Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Friday 2 p.m. at New Life Assembly of God with the Rev. John P. Smith officiating. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Farmville.
